Introduction

NED University and Noor Foundation Inc. (NF) have established a collaborative framework to provide financial assistance through scholarships to deserving students enrolled in courses under selected MS programs. This initiative focuses on disciplines such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Data Engineering, Cyber Security, and related fields.
The program aims to enhance educational accessibility, foster academic excellence, and empower students to excel in advanced and emerging disciplines. Additionally, scholarships will support professional certifications, equipping students with industry-relevant skills to enhance their career opportunities.

10 Scholarships of USD 100

In addition to the courses of Masters programmes, 10 scholarships of USD 100 each will support professional certifications critical to enhancing career opportunities. These certifications are embedded within the Masters curriculum and include:

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI)

Scholarship Amount

The scholarships will be granted to deserving students on merit-cum-need basis in the individual courses of the above-mentioned programmes as per the following details:

Eligibility Criteria for Application

Candidates fulfilling any of the following conditions are eligible to apply for this scholarship:

  • All currently enrolled students in MS programs (AI, CSIT, DS, IS, DEIM) with a CGPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Candidates not currently enrolled in the aforementioned MS programs but meeting the minimum eligibility criteria for admission in any of these programs.

Selection Criteria

Selection of scholarship recipients will be based on a merit-cum-need basis, with a performance evaluation and an interview.

  • Performance evaluation for individual courses will be based on:
    • A test for candidates not currently enrolled in any of the aforementioned Master's programs.
    • Current CGPA for candidates already enrolled in the Master's programs.
  • Performance evaluation for professional certification will be based on the performance of the student in which the respective certification is integrated.
  • Interview will be conducted to evaluate the need of the candidate based on the data provided in the scholarship form and any other relevant information.
